Our Family Day FUNSPIEL was a FUN Day with Family & Friends. It was a Full House with 40 Curlers from ages 11 – 70 plus years old participating along with several enthusiastic fans cheering on their Family or Friends Teams. 🙂
The intent was to have folks come out with friends & family to give the sport a try as this Bonspiel was open to all levels of curling including those with little or no experience. The day started with a 40 minute session to review Curling Skills & Game Rules. The small group instruction was lead by experienced Curlers to help prepare our newer Curlers for the games.
The event consisted of two 6 end games. A delicious lunch was prepared by “Fuel 4 You”. The participants enjoyed a Trivia Contest during lunch time and several door prizes were awarded throughout the day.
