The Granite Club was buzzing with activity on Monday, December 5th when the Tuesday Morning Ladies League hosted the 37th Annual Holly & Mistletoe Bonspiel. Twelve teams from Chatham, Blenheim, Sarnia, Ilderton, Highland (London) and Roseland (Windsor) competed in two draws. The Robertson Team (Chatham) won the first draw with the Taylor Team (Chatham) 1/4 point behind and the Coleman Team (Chatham) finished third. The second draw winners were the Hooft Team (Roseland) with the Reed Team (Sarnia) second followed by the Bullard Team (Chatham). Stan’s Flowers Inc. were sponsors for the event. A delicious lasagna lunch was prepared by the Club Catering Committee followed by a selection of desserts. Cathy Cadotte-Trudell and Carolyn Gregory were in charge of the successful draw and raffle tables. Items for the tables were donated by league members and friends. Nora Snelgrove provided festive table decorations. Brenda Hoyles and Linda Brown were co-convenors in charge of registration, prizes and name tags. Larry Wood was our draw master and Keith Chandler was our photographer. Thanks to all who helped make this event a success!
